Communications Commandment 1: You shall love your reader as yourself. As you think and plan your announcement, read your drafts as if you are a first time guest at Faith Bible Church. Are all the facts about your event covered? Have you decoded the copy? Is your event headline compelling? Do you have one action for them to take? Thinking through your announcement in these terms will help maximize the response you will get. Want to know more, click on on of the blog entries on the right sidebar.
All communication requests must be in by Monday, 4 p.m. Staff meetings are each Tuesday morning, where requests are reviewed for approval and inclusion in our communication outlets. Immediately following our staff meetings, the communications department begins production of print and electronic pieces. The demands of weekly production, some of which is done by volunteers, we cannot inject changes late each week. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to submit requests in a timely manner.
Please use the form on the left to make requests for announcements.
Brand Guide
One of the key aspects to communicating effectively is the consistent use of icons, colors, and fonts. Use this page to download the only approved logos, fonts, and colors. Please use only these and only in the approved way. Our guests will be able to receive our messages without noise and additional work. (click for brand guide)
Communication Guide
The Communications Department has produced a “Communications Guide” for Faith Bible Church to deliver messaging consistency and effectively. This Communication Guide will be produced in bite-sized chunks as blog entries, below:
