What are they?
Adult Communities are ongoing adult classes led by our tremendous teachers that meet on Sunday mornings during our two service times (9:00 & 10:40 AM). This is a great place to begin to connect with others and experience the power of in-depth Bible studies that speak directly to life’s issues.
How do I get started?
These classes are wide open for you. Pick a class that looks interesting and the hour that you want to attend and go for it! Make sure to let some people in the class know that its your first time being there, so they can welcome you. Grab an “Adult Communities” brochure in our church lobbies or check below for the most recent listing of our adult communities.

Fellowship Class – Book of Esther
Led by Randy Howard and Mark Prebish; B-203
This book tells of the circumstances that threatened the survival of God’s people during their exile in Persia. These “circumstances” were not the result of chance, but rather are indicative of God’s grand design. Trusting that God is in charge helps us face difficulties of everyday life.
Feasting on the Word – Study of 1st John
Led by Miles Tompkins; B – 203
Contrary to what many have suggested, 1st John is NOT a book of “tests” i.e. a way to once and for all settle the issue of one’s salvation (“am I really saved”). Quite the contrary this letter, written to those who already possess eternal life, is that they may have it more abundantly. Namely, this letter guides believers toward a life of intimacy with Jesus Christ “that your joy may be full.”
Joint Heirs – Study of Isaiah
Led by Brad Eaton; B – 210
The Joint Heirs will pursue a study of the book of Isaiah. Although the study commenced in November, we will take a few weeks to review in January and then maintain review materials for new members to enable all to enjoy this great book. The prophecy of Isaiah is remarkable in that Isaiah was called to bring not only God’s word of judgment to an unrepentant nation, but also to prophecy in great detail concerning the hope of salvation and the coming King.
