People ask about future projects and state a desire to plug in…that is our heart for the Creative Arts Ministry.  For anyone with that desire to find a place to express their God given creativity.  Coming to the close of our Acts teaching series offered one such possibility.  What if we covered the Acts project with individual art pieces?  And what if these pieces represented reaching out?  Either through the book of Acts or through our Faith acts over the past year.  Peter and Paul reached out to their neighboring nations, we have reached out to our neighbors and the nations.  What rich subjects springing out of this time in God’s word!

The idea took hold slowly and grew in measure as the details came together.  Getting a large project off the ground takes a team and God had folks all lined up and ready to go!  We had a Star Bucks meeting of the minds and were off and running…using the leftover Easter panels for our 2′ x 2′ panels, painting them warm shades and getting the Public Relations going.  Communications is so very important in these projects!

Faith folks responded!  We have passed out over 80 boards and they are beginning to trickle back in…absolutely fun!  Stories are emerging of how Acts of Faith affected our body, either locally or internationally.  Reaching out also reaches deeply into our souls whether we are the ones reaching or the ones being reached.  We are learning a lot about our family through this project!  Stay tuned as we post these stories…
